In February 2024 and January of 2026 Glass Gathering members took an exciting field trip to Houston House of Glass, studio of accomplished glassblowing artist Eric DePan. Eric demonstrated his skill as an artist and created a number of pieces while explaining the process and technique of glassblowing. Members had the opportunity to work with Eric and create their own glass flower or ornament in a hands-on opportunity. Many thanks to Eric for sharing his studio and knowledge.
