Have you ever wondered why the photographs you take of your work don't look as good as the photos you see in magazines or on television?  Do you ever think you must be doing something wrong but can't quite figure out what it is?  Have you decided not to show others photos of your work because they don't look as good as the real thing?  Well, plan to attend the Glass Gathering meeting next Saturday to learn how you can become a better photographer and get images you like of your work.  Photography is about light and in this lesson you'll learn how to see your work differently and light it for those professional-looking photos.  Please bring your cameras.  Lighting equipment and tri-pod will be provided.

Richard Hinson is the founder of Glass Gathering and has served for many years on the Executive Committee of our organization.  He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography from the University of Houston and has worked at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston for 26 years installing thousands of museum objects, working with internationally known artists and curators, and trying to age gracefully.
